I heard a story the other day of a story in Egypt where people were fighting each other just to squeeze onto a bus to go home for the weekend.
As one was pulled off the bus, another tried to squeeze on and the mass fight on the main ring road ensued.
Of course, it's nature for man to look after himself and his family and I'm sure if the Mad Max days were to come to fruition, we would see man kill each other for survival.
Of course to a lesser extent, that mother nature gene that ensures that man looks after his family is there for all to see.
It's what drive most people to succeed and prevail despite others failures.
It's in us all to defend, look after and provide for our famailies to the best of our abilities , so lets not chastise people for doing so.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

I would agree in this scenario that you are measuring "real term affordability", but not house price real term value dropipng 75%as per the initial topic of conversation.jamesmorgan wrote: »I agree most people use the term 'real terms' to compare with RPI (or CPI). In practice it is attempt to measure affordability of an item and as such is usually better measured against wage inflation.:wall:

Indeed..we already kill our fellow man to ensure that we have the best to live on. We allow thousands to die in African and asia,to keep them in subjugation and stifle their development simply because if they did develop, they would swallow resources and compete with us. It is only charities who try to keep them alive and Governments making token gestures to cover up their real agenda. Mans biggest enemy is himself...Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
