Still waiting for Olympic tickets :s

I bought tennis tickets in May and received the confirmation number but that is as far I've got. No sensible help on the Olympic website. The event is on 31st July so the ticket committee are cutting things very fine! It is a shame that we have to wonder at this late stage if we will receive the tickets on time. As suggested by someone earlier there should be a link on the Olympic website to say how the tickets are being despatched.
Good Luck to those who have received your tickets. Enjoy the games!0 -
Why get worried when the website says tickets will be sent out no later than 14 days before the date of the event. When it reaches 14 days ...then contact them!0

Second lot of badminton arrived today, text this morning, delivered 2 hours later!
Still waiting for park tickets then we'll have them all.0 -
Check on your emails you haven't selected the option to collect the tickets yourself. Think this is a fairly recent addition so might not have noticed.
Ticket Delivery0 -
I have not received my very expensive tickets for the Opening Ceremony although I have received one set of tickets for athletics which were bought last year - I may have to cancel a one week holiday next week as I was never informed until spending much time (and listening to a recorded message) on the phone this morning (I called 0844 847 2012) that nothing can be arranged until 7 days before an event if there a 'no delivery' - I continued to wait in the queue in order to speak to a 'real person' to hear confirmation about the seven day rule, but after waiting again I was played a second recorded message repeating the 7 day rule and then the call was automatically terminated - will the phones be manned by an extra team once the Olympics are seven days away? - this is becoming the Kafka Olympics (passport control problems - M4 closed - 3,500 last minute extra army security recruits) I have visited 5 Olympics when the tickets were handled very efficiently by Sportsworld - and in Korea in 1988 there were computerised ticket desks for instant purchases in the centre of Seoul - and a terrific high speed air conditioned underground system - all 24 years ago.0

I've been collecting mine from the post office. For one batch, they made quite a fuss because my passport and tickets didn't have exactly the same name on them (Barbara/Babs type of thing) and told me how careful they had to be. Which made me wonder why two days earlier I'd been given my downstairs neighbour's tickets ... :rotfl:0

Olympic fan 123 I've had the same issue with my Orbit tickets. I rang and got disconnected so I decided to wait until 7 days before my event to call again. Now they've changed the message to it being two days before you can call. They've also stated that you can collect two days beforehand from a box office, however there was no mention of claiming a refund for the £6 delivery fee paid. This is very frustrating as for this week even if they do arrive I can't be around for the delivery or go to the post office to collect. Considering I purchased them at the end of May I didn't think this would be an issue.0

I ordered some to "print at home" but haven't received the tickets even though the event is tomorrow. The help line keeps getting disconnected as mentioned above. Am I supposed to get another email from tickets.london2012?0

Yes you have to search for it. They'll probably offer you to collect at the venue as I did.0
