why not bio powder?

Options
I LOVE white stuff clothes, they fit well, last long, are flattering, and if bought in the sale pretty good value (IMO)

Question is-a few things I have bought recently state "do not use biological detergents" They are no special material-eg trousers 98%cotton 2%lycra

It's not a major issue, I can put them in with gym clothes that I use non-bio with, but any ideas why bio is so bad?

Thanks :)
