Credit File Search - Linked address - Insurance Quote

I've recently done quite a few price comparison website searches for car insurance as I'm trying to decide on a new car.

I hadn't realised that insurance credit searches would be carried out, although I know these are meant to be soft-searches in any case.

I'm considering moving in with my GF so I've been checking how much it would cost to keep the car at her address...and here's my question:

Do those searches now link her address with me on my credit file ? or indeed link her file with me / my address ?

Her credit worthyness is great whilst mine is pretty poor and I'd be devasted if this messes it up.

I have the feeling that as long as we don't take anything out jointly she's safe, is that right ?
