Apologies as i know i read the answer in one of the yogurt threads last week but i have searched and just can't find it. After reading the yogurt threads i have bought the Lakeland electric yogurt maker. I used UHT whole milk and it's fab. So thrilled. Now i need to know how long it will keep in the fridge. Oh and can i please ask if anyone has used vanilla extract to sweeten the yogurt. (does it taste like m*ller ?) Thankyou.

I don't use a machine to make mine, but I find it never lasts more than a week give or take a few days. I have tried using flavourings, but alas they don't taste as good as shop bought. My favourite way of serving is to stir in some hm jam tastes lovely.
Experiment though, maybe make half batches until you find one you love?0 -
