She's had an antihistamine tablet and is smothered with savlon, now wrapped in a cotton sheet wearing only her smalls and looking calmer. She was at a party in a field on Sat eve and they camped overnight so I think it's some sort of grass allergy. Her face is the only unaffected area so I assume her make up was a barrier and protected her skin there.
Welcome Glitzer :T:T: and welcome back returners  Lovely to 'see' so many people.
Off I go!
ETA welcome Boodle
Thnks for the welcome
I feel for your DD. My little one had hives after getting over the chicken pox - think she was around 20 months ?? Was terrified cos never seen it before and her poor hands were massive! Whole body red and swollen. Straight to hosp and put on anti histamine but it took a good few days to bring it down. I hope your DD is feeling better soon, pleased to read she is calmer now xLove and compassion to all x0 -
Wolf reporting for duty *salutes*
I'm in as much as this dratted shoulder will allow.:o Kitchen day for me, doing my own lists.;)
Mr LW is wfh today, so he's going to help later - I've asked him to clean the top of the fridge/freezer and the cupboard, as I can't get up there very easily, even on a good day!
If anyone's interested, here's my Monday list:
Monday: Kitchen 02 Jul 2012
Clean sink, draining board and drainer; check taps for limescale

Clean micro
Clean oven if needed
Check/clean fridge

The floor's already done (Mr LW does the whole bungalow at the weekend):A He's also cleared the ironing (another weekend task here); I've checked the freezer - it doesn't need defrosting, but I do need to do a bit of meal planning, so we'll sit down and do that in a bit, too. (Possibly at lunch time).
I've made a quiche for today's lunch, and we'll have the 2nd half of it tomorrow, as Mr LW is on late shift; the BM is also on, so that he'll have bread for his sandwiches for tomorrow.:o
Ooh, before I forget, good luck vibes for Mummyyof5's DD - I think I'm in time, before her interview.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Bonny - DS2 has grass contact allergy. Anti Hs work well for us. Remember there are lots of different types and some people find some better than others.
Doing some paperwork for tonight now before lunch. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning everyone (just!). I am working from home today and have quite a lot to do, but will try to tackle some of the jobs from the list in little bursts or maybe this evening after dinner. The kitchen isn't looking too bad overall, but the cupboard doors could really do with a wipe.
I seem to have wasted much of the morning surfing the web  Now to get on with some work.
My stainless steel kitchen bin has got some rusty spots inside the lid and also on the foot pedal (presumably from when my kitchen flooded last week due to a burst water pipe!). Does anyone have any tips for how to get rid of these rusty bits and how to keep them at bay?
Here is my list - if it's gone then it's been done or it's not applicable.

Level One
Hoover/mop the floor
Clear and wipe table
Level Two
Clear worktops
Clean worktops right into the corners
Level Three
Clean hob
Wipe doors, drawers & kickboards

Anyone else find it frustrating when you clean the kitchen, then make lunch and basically have to do it all again? Then make dinner... and have to do it all again? I sometimes feel like I spend my life in the kitchen...Love and compassion to all x0

That is my life too. In the meantime you find the rest of the house has been trashed as well. Mondays are the worst, when they've had all weekend to mess it up."Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence."Weight loss challenge:j: week 1~ Napoleon Bonaparte
