Wedding present ideas...

Hi, Two of my friends, who are both English teachers, are getting married. As they are very passionate about literature, I would love to get them a wedding present to reflect this. Any ideas?
Thanks.

    Tickets to see Shakespeare in Stratford? Or the Globe theatre in London.
    A weekend in Hay on Wye the bookshop capital of the UK.
    A personalised wine bottle with their names on the label on a book cover.
    A first edition by their favourite author
    A signed copy of a book by their favourite author

    A weekend away here;
    The Sanctuary Bookshop in Lyme Regis is a Dorset institution with 10 rooms of second-hand books over four floors and a welcoming reading room. If you can't tear yourself away, book yourself into the owner's b & b above the shop. Two characterful guest rooms are rented out. Rates are from £26 per person per night (01297 445815; www.lyme-regis.demon.co.uk).

    Hi
    Check out spineless classics dot com (can't post links!)

    They're prints made from the whole texts of various novels.

    HTH!

    There's a place in Bath called Mr B's Emporium that does something called a 'reading spa', where you have a chat with the staff about the kind of stuff you like to read and then they help you pick a range of books they think you'll like, as well as providing you with tea and cake and a package of goodies to enjoy with your books (the package also includes credit to put towards any books you want to buy). Granted it's not cheap but it's an amazing present!

    This is the link: http://www.mrbsemporium.com/index.php/info/reading_spa

    They also do something called a 'reading year' where once a month you get sent a book the shop has picked out, again based on what you like: http://www.mrbsemporium.com/index.php/info/reading_year

    What do their future spouses do though?

    I'm an English teacher and if someone got me a literature themed wedding present I may love it but it wouldn't really be a present for both of us!

    I think theatre vouchers is a great idea, then the couple can both enjoy the present :)
