MIL has just text me saying she has a wedding present for us off one of her neighbours and apparantly it weighs a ton. Not ungrateful but theres a reason we didn't have a list and asked for donations or Argos or Wilkinsons vouchers...we have lived together over a year and already have everything our small flat needs :rotfl:

I will miss my little friend when she goes home today. I often collect her from school when her mum is busy but we have never spent so long together.

Thanks for the heads up on the mag dailies fire*fly as I gave up on them yesterday as I had better things ( playing Disney Snakes and Ladders and decorating cup cakes)to do than wait for them to load.

Yay....mr sunshine is out! :j off to park with kids today as they have a fun day there.
We went to seaside yesterday and I bought a scratchcard and won £100 so we had a Kentucky and I managed to get some bargains for myself for a change! Got 2 pairs of boots, a pair of trousers and a top all for £17.50 from Internationale had a good day!

Got the problem resolved finally Thanks you for your help.

I contacted them again saying not happy about situation and if need be I would contact the CAB and seek legal advice. I know a bit OTT but was the principle.

They said as a gesture of goowill they would send another Ipod shuffle out and I should receive all my prizes but the end of next week. Happy to confirm though that I received the M&S vouchers yesterday and the Ipod today.

Sorry to hear you haven't received your prizes. I understand they were sent out a while ago. As you're a valued customer I can make an exception this time and send you another iPod shuffle as a gesture of goodwill.

Please understand that we receive a large quantity of people claiming for prizes that haven't been received, which we cannot trace from our end to know what the reality of the situation is. This is why we have started using recorded delivery to combat the problem as it would impact on the prizes we offer.

wingobins you are lucky your DD is only off school for 6 weeks during the summere, here in N Ireland our schools close for 9 weeks. They finished at end of June and reopen 1st week in September.
Becks getting closer. Hope all goes well with your dress and veil today. Good luck with your transport arrangements, it will come together on the day. I can sympathise with you not getting asleep, I am suffering pains in my face, it might be toothache and the last few nights go to bed really tired and still awake upto 5 or 6 am. I'm of those people who love my sleep.
No prizes for me today. Hope we all have a lucky week next week.

I’ve had a house full of visitors this week and I’ve been out every day and evening. I’ve hardly entered anything and I'm shattered but they’ve all gone now and its bliss.
