Newbie to this part of MSE...just after some advice from you lovely people. What happens when you win competitions and you never receive the prizes?

I have won an ipod shuffle and 2 x £10 M&S vouchers but they have never reached my house Have spoke via FB to the company and they state the ipod was sent out and they are sorry I didn't get the prize but they have no more to send out. They also state they have sent out the M&S voucher 3 times :eek: now but they will send another two out again.

They state they have sent these items out registered/recorded post, so surely they should be taking this issue up with Royal Mail as they certainly didn't arrive at my house and weren't signed for by me or the children in the household.

So, Ive been comping on/off for a few months, with a period of feb/march serious comping. (every day) Winning about 30 prizes a month. I had to concentrate on uni work (but somehow still getting a couple of prizes). I started on Monday and had already won 6 little things - So excited to be back, checking the front flat entrance for prizes is always exciting. I can't wait for the advent competitions. I would love to win some nice things for the family and friends! Wishing you all good luck! xx

Iheart - you can post your request for votes om the referrer's board as you arent really supposed to ask anywhere else. Good luck

Cosmic - if yu read velvetgloves comping guide on here it tells you what to do about prizes that dont turn up. Check the fb company have your right address. Ask them for the reference codes for what they jave sent. Whic company is it by the way?

Cosmic sometimes prizes can take a couple of months to arrive but that doesn't sound good if they have already sent out prize.

Sue, I know how you feel about them emails, had a few myself with everyone's emails in. I got one yesterday that was in my spam box and had subject as name of a friend of mine but it looked genuine so I clicked on it. Ended up with loads of pages opening spamming me!

Just been to get girls hairs cut and dd2 wanted a fringe in....she looks cheekier than ever!

I wonder why ITV haven't phoned me......should have phoned me by now! :think:

Afternoon all, been busy out and about today, went to the pub for breakfast (only coffee and toast) and do the crossword in the paper etc.

Firefly - Nice pic, the coffee looks good, could do with some cream in mine though! there's always one awkward one isn't there? That me!

Barnabysue - love your pic too, the slippers are fantastic.

Stockiebecks - getting closer now, have to agre with wing's idea of a minibus, sounds the right answer to me, saves a lot of stressing.

LM - Thats fantastic finishing that assignment and good luck with the other one - you can do it just keep positive.

have had a very lazy day... I really feel i should have something weddingy to do but don't really think i have apart from pack which will be done over next few days.
