Back from Blackpool after wheres wally hen night all battered and bruised! It was through hiding in places and I was also planking on tables etc! good weekend though!

Not read back yet but I gather from weeowens post above there was a troll again! Probably the same person from previous weeks.

Don’t respond or engage with trolls

More importantly we ask that you don’t respond, get involved or start name calling – that simply isn’t helpful and it means in the long run you risk your own privilege to post on this forum being removed just as much as the original trouble maker.

If there is a problem 'don’t feed the troll' – in other words don’t engage or let it escalate: report it to us.

We don’t have moderators on the site, the forum is too big and it's not legally advisable. Yet even if we did, it is very difficult to judge who is right and who is wrong in a fight.

Either report or spam it please.

3 There is a spam post on the main board, should I do anything?
A spam post is usually where someone has joined the forum with the intent to lure unsuspecting MSE Compers (& other Forum users) to another site which will then either con them out of money or simply by one of us clicking the link it will give them money / points etc.

Whether to take action or not will depend upon whether someone else has already taken action with the spam post. If you read the spam post & someone has already mentioned it is spam & they have reported it then:

1. Please RESIST the urge to post on the thread telling the OP to go away, stop wasting our time, get a life, etc. as they probably won’t ever revisit that post again & it is just giving further exposure to the spam by posting & bumping it back to the top of the Forum for other MSE Compers to see!
2. If you feel you must do something then simply click the ‘Thanks’ button of the person who took the time to report the post!
3. Please do not report the post to the Forum Team again if it has already been done as then the Forum Team are inundated with multiple emails about the same issue & end up trawling through emails relating to an issue which has now been resolved when they could be killing more spam!

If there are posts but no one has mentioned they have reported it to the Forum Team then please click the spam button in the post. If enough people do that the post will be removed until the Forum Team can take a look. Alternatively report the post to [EMAIL="forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com"]forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com[/EMAIL] so it can be deleted.


When you click the triangle it will open a report box to send your report. Please post on the thread to alert other members that you have reported the spam.
[NB: If you use webmail instead of an email client (Outlook, Windows Mail, etc.) then you could send an email to the Forum Team ‘manually’.
