you've the right to be very proud of yourself :A
my dh struggled for years with very limited eyesight but like you he never let it get him down & always did his best :A
loads of good luck for you :A
Thanks fire**fly. Your DH sounds like an inspiration.
I want to be a writer (well, to be honest, my dream job is to be a Technology Journalist, writing for the likes of Stuff magazine etc.). It sounds like a lame ambition but it gives me something to aim for for when when I'm hopefully better.
The good thing about writing is that you can write anywhere so you're not really "tied down", so to speak.

hi GB,
if you get your image up you just need to click your right hand mouse button over it, you should get a list of options,
click on ' copy ' then left click on mouse,
place image on the screen & left click on 'paste'
:T Thanks for trying to help :AThat seems really logical & have tried, but when I return to this page the option to "Paste" isn't available- it's greyed out IYKWIM
The pic was obviously copied into my clipboard OK as it pasted into my documents folder OK when I tried that to test the copying process.
Could just be my aging & overworked lappy I suppose...?

I always upload any pics to Photobucket and then put them on here by Direct Link GB, I couldn't get it to work before I did that.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Hi everyone,
Welcome to newbie rosn123 - happy comping.
Fire**fly - thanks for the info about pics will give that a try when I get a bit braver on the forum. I must say I am loving your Squirrel pics and others that you post. I come onto Compers Inn especially to see them each morning.
Lady Morticia - I think your OU results are fantastic. It is so much harder when you have health problems. My youngest daughter finished her Psychology degree last year whilst struggling with ill health and is now an animal assisted therapist using two tortoise. Its a long road to a degree and I admire you greatly for your determination - so just keep pressing on doing the best that you can.
Granny biker - waiting to see you pics then maybe I will have a go too.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
hi guys! New to comps here, but inspired by some of your sucess in your sigs!
Can I ask a quick question - what do you tend to do regarding spam e-mails and phone contact? I entered a few and immediately got spam texts a few days later. I know of spamgourmet for email for example, does anyone use such tools?
cheers!0 -
Your break sounds great Grannybiker - hope you have a lovely time and manage to show us your pics! My anniversary is coming up too but we are always involved in our summer holiday by then. Quite often staying at airport or flying on it. This year its the night before and we are leaving from home at 7am so no late night before that.
Well done on your results LadyM!
Looking forward to your pics too lomaxsylvia - don't be shy!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

i don't normally get any spam texts from comps on my moby (keep a compers moby just for them comps) most of the text/phone comps posted on here very rarely send out/back any spam afaik
as for spam emails, part of the comping game, just delete them
