The most memorable wedding that I've ever been too was perfectly normal until after the vows. The vicar then said to the Groom, "how do you feel?", the Groom replied "I feel good" and suddenly the song "I feel good na na na na na na na na na started playing and the Groom, Best Man and Vicar put on dark glasses and started dancing to it, the Bride and congregation were in shock and could do nothing but laugh,it was so funny.

    Brilliant song fire**fly! :T

Becks, my hairdresser turned up very hungover on my wedding day which had me in tears. Turned out ok in the end though :)

Sheils not surprised to hear about the transport difficulties. Have just read the planet Mercury will be in retrograde from the 14th July for 3 weeks. When this happens there is usually communication and transport problems. Watch and see how many computers and phones start playing up and trains, planes and buses being delayed.
Sun has come back out here too. We have also an awful clammy heat, even when it is raining.
Looking forward to our Hen night tomorrow.
No wins for me this week.

gosh  just read that bit about planet mercury
to my dh & he's very interested, will be interesting to watch out for thanks for the info :A

Haha....that's hilarious! Weddings should be memorable like that! :D
Me and hubby wanted a song that people would join in to in the church so we had....down by the riverside which was our local football song. Everyone just stared in amazement and no one was singing it! Even the vicar didn't know the words properly and the organist was well out of tune! :o funny though! :D

I think people where shocked at DH and I's wedding because I wore a purple wedding dress instead of the traditional white. :p DH and I are anything but traditional so they should have expected it.:rotfl:

wingobins you really crack me up. Loved your choice of song for your wedding.
The song I picked in church was Endless Love. At the time there was a pop song with the words "My Endless Love". The one in church was different and the congregation couldn't manage the notes - it sounded terrible. So much for "Endless Love" my marriage lasted 11 years.
I was going to be the 1st bride to turn up on time. I was 20 minutes late. Not my fault, my brother who was giving me away as my Father wasn't well sneaked out the night before the wedding and got bladdered. Everyone was away to the Church and I was left in the house on my own no sign of my brother. As the big car came to collect me at the back door (lived in a cul de sac) Billy arrived at the front door, he still had to get into the wedding attire. He had cut himself shaving and had stuck small bits of toilet paper on his face.
Before my Mother went to the church the bridesmaid and I realised we had no one to take our handbags, so my poor Mother went up the aisle carrying a load of hand bags talk about the bag women! I am sitting here laughing about it but boy was it embarassing. The worst thing is I am a perfectionist so I wanted everything perfect. Do you think someone was trying to tell me it it wasn't going to work!
Yes wingobins that was me on FB. Trying to keep the FB accounts separate for different topics. It's getting confusing as I think I now have 3 names (my MSE name, my real name (FB) and a blogger name (FB).
Sitting listening to fireworks, our town got the title "City of Culture" last year so loads of big developments going on. They are using the old Army Barracks (previously a Naval Base) as an open air concert. Last night "The Undertones" were playing among others, tonight it is "The Red Hot Chilli Pipers".
Got my pink cowboy hat today for the Hen night, wasn't the one I wanted but its ok, pink and shiny. Poundland had very little in Wedding bits and pieces more birthday stuff.
