Just thinking how easy it was when my kids were small compared to now Jane! They are driving me mad by not giving me their clothes to pack and arguing about the time we will be leaving on Sat morning. We offered to stay nearer the airport (Manchester) the night before and no-one wanted to so it will be an early start especially as we have loads of road works on our main road. Today it was closed altogether as a cheese lorry went on fire! O'h well they have both gone out now - seperately I might add.

Forgot to say postman brought my dvd of The Lakes this morning (dailies win). Never saw the series so looking forward to it. It has the actor who played the policeman on Life on Mars in it. I like him.

In the process of sorting it now.

Nobody got back to me via the website so I got in touch on the FB page and was given an email address which seems to be getting better results.

Apparently our Gas account was closed in December 2011 (the exact same month we set up our accounts with British Gas!) but he said that it's looking like it wasn't actually our account that was meant to be closed. We think it might be something to do with plot numbers before the houses were given numbers. There was a bit of a balls up I think.

As long as I don't get a hefty bill for 6 months worth of Gas! We've been paying our Gas bill quarterly online via the British Gas website and I have the bank statements to prove it!

Very strange because how have they charged you gas if there is no account. Hope they sort it for you
