I saw Martin on tv and wanted advice about switching gas and electric....I never did get to that advice! :rotfl: the words....competition stood out for me!

I found the site when looking for money saving ideas and eventually saw the comps part. I wasn't used to computers etc so it took me a while to realise there was more than one page of comps!
Took me a long time to find the Inn too and went into the Arms once by mistake and wondered where all the peeps I'd been speaking to had gone.

first time i saw one of your posts was ages ago in the arms when you'd had a new hammy & i replied she was gorgeous :A had replied to you about the comps board once as well when you asked a question as well, sure i was korky then :rotfl:that's a while ago :eek:

Yeah I've gate crashed the Arms a few times too when no one was in he Inn! I saw fire**fly and Laks in there playing the word game (I think) so invited myself along! they're lovely in there too
I decided comping wasn't enough for me and wanted some friends so introduced myself in here and never looked back

i've to admit i never hardly looked at the other boards (money saving ideas) when lurking/joined up, just went straight to comps :rotfl:

I found MSE when I was looking for benefits advice as I was in an abusive relationship and agoraphobic and in a right state! Got slated to pieces and remember one particular poster being very helpful and we're still friends to this day.

I found the comps board when I was randomly browsing down the boards one day. Much like how I found the Arms.:rotfl:
