Had a £50 voucher in the post today from The Spaghetti House, a win from a comp posted by weeowens. Had a really lucky week.

DH is happily watching all the Olympic sport so will leave me in peace to comp I hope.

Hi All,
Weather terrible here today. Heavy showers. Waited until 2.45pm and a friend and I went to Fun Day. Grass was soaking wet, had to climb over wiggly worms. Enjoyed the stalls and entertainment. My house is coming down with books and of course I come home with 3 more.
Highlight of the day got my photo taken with our Deputy Mayor and my friend and I were waiting for a Taxi when the "Mayor's" car (black Limousine) pulls up the door opens and the Deputy Mayor leans out and offers us a lift home! We both jumped in, can you imagine the neighbours faces when the big Limousine pulls into my street and I jump out. I wish I had my camera with me.
Was glad Becks wasn't getting married in N Ireland she would have been drenched. She looks really well, lovely picture of her and her new hubbie.
Well done to bishopgirl and wingobins on your prizes.
Katie well done on getting 3rd place in Fancy Dress Competition.
