Outstanding Default

Hi,

I'm a bit confused and hoping someone can help me...

I paid off all my debts (largely through settlements) following lots of defaults about a year ago, after paying off everything I got a £2 credit report and it was still showing me as having an o/s default, I called Lloyds about it and they said they would remove it and it just hadn't been updated on their system.

I thought not a lot more about it and got out a credit card with a £500 limit which was paid off every month to try and rebuild some of the damage I've done.

Having received a letter saying that my credit limit was being increased I thought I'd look at my credit report on noddle to see how much better it was...

At this point I learnt that the default was still on there despite having been paid a year ago (as a settlement, so it should only have ever said satisfied) and was updating every month as still being a default.

Where do I go from here and can it be removed retrospectively so it shows as having been paid a year ago?

Thanks!

PS sorry it's a bit of a ramble am devastated!!

It will still be listed as a default, but now just marked as a settled/satisfied one.

Depending on the CRA it should now have a latest status code of something like "S", and show that no balance is outstanding.

However, the original default will stay listed for 6 years.

If you still think something is wrong then post up the info/dates/status codes.
