Damaged Tie

I went to party with a new tie and picked up my niece in my arms - seems her dress caught on my tie and pulled out some threads
There are now 2 lines going in the opposite direction of the pattern where the thread has come out which is quite noticeable - it is a plain purple tie with lines going in one direction diagonally.
Is there anything I can do or is it done for?
