Northern Debt Recovery (On behalf of SpeedCredit)

Hi,
This is my first post, just registered as I've been browsing for years and getting various advice without ever actually signing up and hopefully someone will be able to help me with this (apologies if it's in wrong forum).
Unfortunately due to my own stupidity, I got into a bit of a mess with Payday Loans and couldn't afford to pay one back I had gotten with SpeedCredit. They forwarded my file on to Northern Debt Recovery who I have been dealing with through e-mail. I made a plan with them to pay the debt of at £100per month and I would bank transfer this on the 16th of every month so that it would reach them by the 21st.
This was to be the first month of payment and as planned I transferred the money to their account. Now, despite having deducted the £100 from the balance that I owed they are claiming I haven't made any attempt at paying or contacting them. Today, I have recieved a letter from Appelton Massey Solicitors instructing that if acceptable arrangements are not made within 7 days then a CCJ will be issued against me.
NDRecovery do not have a direct mail address and I have had to deal with them through the contact page on their website as I did not want a phone conversation where they could deny I had agreed this payment. I have all e-mails from them confirming the payment plan of £100 for the balance of £1053. The e-mails I have saying I haven't paid all have the balance of £953 as they obviously received my payment.
Could anyone help with this?
Just to re-iterate my stupidity with getting into this, I'm a 21 year old who did have a good wage which decreased and I failed to living within my means. I take full responsibility that the debt was all my fault before there is any replies about not wanting to pay debt back as I've seen on here before.
Thanks.

Terminology. Solicitors cannot issue CCJs. Solicitors apply for CCJs. Courts may grant CCJs or they may reject the application.Today, I have recieved a letter from Appelton Massey Solicitors instructing that if acceptable arrangements are not made within 7 days then a CCJ will be issued against me.
In your case, the best thing to do for the moment is let it flow. You are paying the money according to the arrangement made. The paperwork is showing that you are paying the money. Don't make the mistake of stopping paying.
Appleton Massey may be trying to harass you into paying more., well if you don't have more, don't pay more - let Appleton Massey get their panties in a wad, they are paid to do this with their panties, you aren't with yours.
By the time 2 or 3 months have passed you will have more solid evidence of keeping to an arrangement. So if it did go to court, the judge would be rather irritated to award a settlement which you are sticking to anyway.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Thanks a lot, both of you. I'll continue to pay as I have agreed and see where this goes.0

Before you are paying anything you should have a full breakdown of interest and charges to be added.
These can leave you paying hundreds a month but never paying the debt down.
You need it carefully worked out what you are paying and for what.
The debt can even grow and never be paid off.
So make sure you have a breakdown of what your £100 a month pays.
In relation to a CCJ, this is a bluff for any debt collector of any brains knows the CCJ freezes the debt and they only get whats on the order and can not add huge interest charges, only bank base rate charges.
So the debt collectors wont be able to fleece you, so that looks like a bluff.
But to be honest, you would get a better deal from the court and one on paper.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

They added late payment charges etc but froze any more interest and charges with the payment plan I made with them. Going by the other thread someone posted above, they are just trying to get more money out of me.
Also looking on that thread, NDRecovery who I made the plan with and Appleton Solicitors seem to have the same company number registered so I think you're right that it is a massive bluff.
Off-topic, but this is a really cracking board and I think I'll be sticking around so I can avoid getting into these types of messes.0
