Yet another misprice. Have ordered only so that I can add the 'sorry there's a problem with your order' email to my list (currently at about 32 in the past week or so) to forward to Trading Standards along with the relevant sections of my bank statement.

Another bike cancelled earlier; they claim to correct the errors as soon as they are aware, yet since they cancelled my order from yesterday morning they must have been aware then, yet continue to advertise the item and take the money with no intention of fulfilling the orders. That's why I'm onto TS, I know they have no obligation to sell at the stupid prices, but the payment/refund situation is not acceptable.

I'm only at 8 cancelled orders in 2 months but I've been onto Consumer Direct thanks to details posted in the toy misprice thread. They are passing on details to Trading Standards about how mispriced items have been cancelled but the price isn't changed and then how the price did change but only when you put the item in your basket. They weren't impressed.

I'm compiling quite a dossier Worry-wart, there are several matters that have arisen from this fiasco that Tesco's need to address. They still insist that once they are aware of a mis price, the item is removed from sale immediately, yet my account (and others' experience) clearly shows otherwise. They'll even email stock updates for these items so that that they can easily be added to basket - ludicrous.
Then there's the wait for the refund for the goods that they took payment for with no intention of dispatching...........

Just read the linked post, thank you very much for that, will definitely be adding fuel to the fire with Trading Standards/Consumer Direct. I was planning on contacting the office for the area that covers their head office, I believe this is the correct route with online traders.

You're not always guaranteed to be refunded for cancelled orders either. On 5 separate occasions now I've had to confront them in order to be refunded. Each time they have to do a cardsafe check first to confirm their error, and these can only be done up to 6 pm. Yesterday they were supposed to have phoned me back after doing the cardsafe check, but they didn't. I rang again today, for the 4th time, and they didn't even offer a gesture of goodwill for my wasted time and inconvenience.

I've phoned twice now for refunds for 3 orders. The last time I phoned I was promised "Mike" would call me back to discuss how they could make it up to me given other people were able to order the same item at the lower price 3 days after I first ordered.
