(aside from some of the more general stickies already in existence, i.e. 'your credit rating discussion area')
Why you've been (or will be) rejected for a loan:
Probably because you...
- are already (deep) in (bad) debt
- have defaults, CCJs, IVA, BR, etc.
- have a history of PDLs on your credit file(s) and/or bank account
- can't afford the amount of loan you want
- can't afford any loan, full stop
- are not on the voters roll, or have moved around too much in recent years
- are unemployed, underemployed, etc.
- haven't got much of a credit history at all (a well-managed mobile phone contract does not entitle you to a 10k personal loan)
- are wanting a loan for silly (irresponsible) reasons (property deposits, etc.)
- have a credit 'score' that means nothing, even if Experian score you at 999
- have been declined just because (there being no legal obligation for lenders to lend to you)
Every other thread on here is along the lines of "help me get a loan" (open up these threads and you'll see a myriad of lender no-goes in the OP's financial history), or "I've been refused a loan" (cue outrage from the OP, when there appears to be 1,000,001 good reasons as to why the refusal occurred).
Much the same applies to the credit card subforum.
Rant / pointless post over.

Fair points probably very worthwhile, however I think we know that there will be little change to
1 why won't anyone borrow me money as my credit score is 99999999
2 mixture of responses varying from you could try x, to supply details of income debt etc, to when I was in the war under rationing we used to eat our shoes etc
3 response from OP saying thanks to helpful ones, every one else is c***0 -
