BT processing fee

since december 2011 i have asked BT to send me the particulars of there processing fee of £1.89 per month which is charged for processing your payment if you wish not to pay by direct debit , they have failed to send me the cost rundown itemised fee charge , because of this reason i refuse to pay the £1.89 part of the bill , i pay the undisputed amount on time , but they have started to charge me a late payment fee of £7.50 for the disputed part of the bill which is now £1.89 x 7 months, you should not be penilised for not paying by direct debit
I must stress that this processing fee is charged regardless if a bill that month is processed , example if you pay so your account is in credit for 6 months ,for those 6 months BT will still charge you the fee to process nothing , i am not withholding payment because i dont challange what it costs them to process the fee( i believe it costs no more than 50p) , but that they have not sent me the particulers of the fee which i am expected to pay and also to pay if a bill is not generated to pay , has anyone else disputed this charge !!!!

The fee of £1.89 is for not paying by DD (as you know). So if you paid the rest of the bill not by DD and you also only partially paid your bill then the non DD fee and late payment charge are correct.

the late payment charge is for the processing fee i have not paid since december, how can someone charge a late payment for a disputed debt
