Iron made black mark on shirt collar-help

Went to do some ironing & stuff from bottom of iron has transferred on to the collar of a white shirt.
Any ideas on how to get it off.
Do not want to have to buy DS new school shirts at the mo.
(this is second one in a couple of weeks)

I have done this too. I scrubbed the mark with a scourer and stardrops. Then put it back in the wash and it came off.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:
