This ^^^ is the right answer.

    Good post John thumbs-up.gif

Your credit report might not show all of your outstanding accounts. Any clues you can get by going through old letters, statements etc will be useful.

Other than that, all you can do is keep an eye on the post.

Lastly, if they have not caught up with your after 6 years of your last payment (or otherwise acknowledging the debt in writing) it becomes 'statute barred'.

that is quite interesting as the debt I have with Orange (now passed onto debt collecters who seem to have stopped writing to me a long time ago) was when I was 18 so almost 5 years ago. Best to try find them and pay it to them ?

    alas, the saga continues.

Did try for a free credit report online on a few sites but they cannot locate me. Had no problems before but I did move house in September 2011... my bank cards are registered at my new address but for electoral role I am still under my parents address.

So this I presume is the reason they cannot locate my records!?

How do I change this ? I haven't tried to hide anything by not changing it, just something I never thought about.

I dont mind it coming in post will do that, thanks.

I do have contracts with T-Mobile atm but they are all upto date and I have to bad credit with them.

My debts are in the form of

    Studio catalogue
    littlewoods catalogue
    vodafone

the three above I have not been paying towards.

Lloyds tsb bank loan which I am paying towards and have never defaulted on.

Hoping to be debt free in say 2 years which means I will be 25 and then if it takes 6 years to clear can buy a joint house at 31ish so still quite young. Atm partner owns his house that I live in.
