WooHoo

Mrs Mouse has just phoned to say postman has delivered signed deed from OR - she's got the House back ! :j OR's solicitor is going to notify Land Registry so all we need to do is check title in a few weeks time.

Why on earth does anyone think you need to appoint your own solicitor when all you need to do is get a friend to witness a signature? Save the money and DIY!

And to double celebrate yesterday we paid the last installment on mortgage arrears  - we’re back on track. Just three payments to go on settlement with bankers and she will be debt free.

Many thanks everyone, read a lot of useful stuff on here.

    Congrats

I hope to be getting the house back in the next month or so

Won't be making the mistake in future- the house and assets will be in the wifes name from now on so next time someoene fails to pay and I am foreced to go BR then the house won't be at risk
