Go Ape! Great British Adventure – Terms & Conditions(…The Boring Bit!) 1. Introduction
The Go Ape ‘Great Britsh Adventures’ Competition has a number of Terms and Conditions for entry. These are important to ensure that the caption you submit is both eligible to win and meets important legal and fair criteria. Note that any deviation from these Terms and Conditions may regretfully render your submission to the competition to be void.
2. Submission & Acceptance
There are no limits on the number of entries per person. No purchase necessary. Entrants will automatically be entered into a monthly prize pool with the chance to win adventure gear. To enter, visit the relevant section of the website, enter your details and upload a caption along the theme of ‘British Adventure’. Last date for receipt of entries is 30 September 2012. Captions will not be accepted into the competition if they are deemed inappropriate. This includes captions that may be offensive, previously published, copyrighted (by somebody other than the entrant) or otherwise contrary to the spirit of the competition or any of the specific rules noted for each competition category. If your captions are deemed inappropriate, they will not be considered by the Competition judges and / or will be removed from the accepted pool of photos. Whilst we do try to notify owners of the reasons why their caption has not been accepted, we cannot guarantee a personal response or dialogue for all entries.
3. Eligibility to Enter
The prize draw is open to UK residents only aged 18 years and older, except employees and their families of the Promoter, its affiliated companies and agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Register (for free) at www.goape.co.uk/gba
This competition is open for entries between 27 June 2012 to 30 September 2012 (inclusive). The entrant must have a valid Facebook or Twitter account to enter. Entries must be made online; no postal entries will be accepted.
4. Competition Prizes & Prize Draw
The prizes are non-transferable. No cash alternative, charity donation or substitution prize will be offered. There are 3 prize bundles up for grabs plus a Segway for the individual with the greatest number of votes … winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date of draw. A total of 4 individuals will each receive a prize. If a selected winner does not respond to contact made by the Promoter within 28 days of initial notification date that person’s claim to the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a substitute winner.
5. Copyright, Licence and your Work
If your caption is accepted, we will publish your name alongside it wherever used as part of the Go Ape ‘Great British Adventures’ Competition.
6. Variations and Termination
Go Ape reserves the right to amend at any time the terms and conditions or to terminate this competition.
