Valuation to offer

Hi
Just going through the process with the nottingham building society todate its been quite quick and pleasent.
We had our aip done and full application agreed with credit checks. They have instructed a valuation of the property and I am awaiting the results of that evaluation, unfortunatley the evaluer would not give indication of what he thought.
Does anybody have any experience of how long it takes from the valuation being done until we hear if it was ok (met asking price)
and how long until offer is received.

I am in the process as well. I had to pay for the valuation done by the Lender and got a customer copy once it was done which states all the findings from the surveyor.
If you are applying direct for the mortgage, I would suggest calling the mortgage team and checking out if it has taken a long time. Otherwise ask your broker for any details.0 -
thanks Harvey. yeah I applied direct. I will give them until Monday then its been 5 working days since it was done. Imagine the old days of writing it up passing it via carrier pigeon has gone. The benefits of modern technology you would assume/hope has speeded the process up0

Once the valuation is reported and assessed on your application. It may take a few days from then on for the Lender to post the Offer. SO I would give about two weeks from the day of valuation to getting an offer on average speed.0

I had my Valuation done on friday and I got a call from the Lender on Tuesday to say that they are happy with it and my mortgage offer will be sent out that day. I also went direct. Hopefully you will get yours soon, but if you don't give them a call to check.0

yeah we are in the same position . valuation was done 2 weeks ago all was ok and my buyer has still not got his morttgage offer. im in panic mode, 12 working days amd still no mortgage offer.
god knows why its taking this long for my buyer0 -
update from me. i have slight delay as my solicitor despite assurance from him is not infact registered with nottingham panel. So we are waiting for him to get things right and then offer should come out. An avoidable delay but again out of nottinghams and my control0
