hindsight

OK good news, I’ve just paid off the balance of my credit card which took 1 year to clear £1500 :j...now there is just a matter of the £5k loan over the next 1.5 years. :(

The crazy thing is, is that it takes 'minutes' to go through the process of agreeing a debt policy (loan or credit card etc), it then sadly takes literally 'seconds' to get into debt, yet it takes a really, REALLY long time to clear it...CRAZY! Why do we do it? I guess for a variety of reasons, but I would suggest for the DFW's is to do anything to clear your debts, save up and pay with your own real hard earned cash for those inexpensive things you 'need' and always continue to save and not to live beyond your means. I know, I know "easier said than done". Good luck to all, take care, work hard, enjoy earning your money and saving up for something wondrerful.

Hey well done on bashing one debt down to a big fat 0.

On the other thoughts - I've learnt there are big differences between 'need' and 'want'!

Congratulations. Good luck with the loan.

I've often wondered what I was thinking when I was running up debt. It's just ridiculous really...
