Ocado free delivery

I've received an email from Ocado about their delivery offer:

For a limited time only, we’re offering you the chance to get an anytime Ocado Delivery Pass and enjoy the first six months absolutely free. At just £6.99 a month after that (usually £10.99), you could save £314 over the year.

You’ll need to be quick – this exclusive offer is only available until Tuesday 10th July 2012.

Minimum term 12 minths.

I have an email too but my offer is for three months and I have to log in to get it. It doesn't seem to be an offer for everyone. Mr shoe has no offer at all.

Oh dear -sorry Mrs Shoe. I wonder if I got that because I've never placed an order with them.
  • I got the offer for 6 months too but was unsure whether you would then have to pay for the next 6 months as I thought I saw something about a minimum 12 month term- does anyone know?

According to my email you are locked in for 12 months but the last six months are at £6.99 per month so still a good saving if you are a regular user.

Usually on this deal you can cancel before the end of the free trial. This one does say 12 months minimum though which isn't so good. I think the T&Cs need to be looked at very closely.

I got this email too. I registered with Ocado, but when I looked at their delivery charges I went . Waitrose delivers free of charge and Abel and Cole is only 99p delivery charge. I'll have to investigate how good their organic range is.

If you are in their Bristol hub delivery area don't bother. They can't work out how long it takes to get round the M25, M4, M5 and are significantly late 75% of the time.

Interestingly, when I log in to book a delivery the charge is either £0.00 or £0.49 depending on the time of day. This is without paying for a delivery pass.
