Im not sure if I have posted this in the right place - sorry if it isnt.
I am due to have some NHS dental treatment which I will pay for. I need 2 crowns. I would like some advice on whether both are classed within the one course of treatment and hence £209 (band 3 cost) or whether each crown will cost £209. I would like to go to the appointment forewarned.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

With this level of treatment you should have been given a fp17dc form detailing costs etc which you sign.
If they are clinically necessary crowns and you are in England then it will be one band three payment £209 ish.0 -
Thanks for the response.
Im not sure if my question was clear but what I want to know is do I pay £209 per crown or do i pay £209 which would include as many crowns as needed.0 -
In England £209 includes all treatment necessary to ensure dental fitness. So if two crowns need doing clinically they will be £209 for two, if more are clinically indicated then it will still be £2090

Thats great, thanks0

also unless these are anterior crowns they won't be white.
They are typically metallic or gold on posterior teeth.
If you want white ones you will have to pay for it on an independent basis as it is not clinically necessary.0
