Matalan sale - now 70% off

I have tried and tried to get the Olympic code to work but no luck - anyone have any luck using it? I am not trying to order sale items as I know you cannot use it for that

It took £1.21 off my order, but it's still cheaper for me to go fetch it as it was only one item and the postage was more than the discount.

I spent over 50 quid to get free delivery,I then saw the olympic code and I didn't realise it cancels the free delivery out until I received my email.
Then I realised it hasn't taken 20.12% off either as it only deducted 6 pounds,so that's not right.

Looking into it further I don't know where the olympic code came from as it seems to be for people who have a black reward card which means you're a higher spender and you only get invited to get one of those cards.

I haven't been shopping in Matalan since about 1997, and I walked in and bought stuff so I certainly don't have any kind of loyalty card, the code is on the page I linked to, it was on the start of this thread, but it does clearly say you can't have free delivery if you use it.

Don't know if this is helpful, but just to show it works for some people - £4.83 is the right discount, 10% would be £2.40 so £4.80 would be 20% (and this is 20.12%). So it effectively takes off the cost of shipping £3.50, and gives an additional £1.33 on the above example.

That is from their site ^^^ usually when codes aren't for everybodys use they don't work,typical it worked for me and it wasn't supposed to lol

Quite often they go up in price when they go to the clearance store. they will start there at 50% off and some are 70% off in store just now. They will go down in price later on but they sell off the best items before that..

My items have arrived,the 20.12% has not been taken off the sale items even though I can't see anything that says not including sale items and I bought two pairs of leggings at full price and it hasn't taken any money off those either.

It's only taken the discount off the 30 pound item which doesn't fit.

One light has arrived damaged too,turned into a right disaster this order
