I have to say I hate the baby dry pampers, I found them terrible for leaking at night, but I tried these after trying the active fit just to see what they were like and love them. I find them the best pampers of the lot and would preferably use them at night over the other types (that I will buy on offer for in the day, although still won't buy baby dry ever). Not sure what the whole plasticy thing is about, most nappies are plasticy.
I've got my sister onto these and she agrees so people should try them at least before ruling them out due to price, doesn't mean they are rubbish if they are cheaper.
I was shuffling round morrisons with the max 6 large packs of these in size 5 on one arm the other day witha basket in the other hand- being 5 months pregnant I maybe should have gotten a trolley!

Oh and I asked a lady that works in morrisons how long the offer was on and they'd run out but she thought it was till this weekend so might nearly be finished today?

I think it was the asda nappies that the OP was talking about not the pampers.

I've also spotted that the Tesco baby club event is starting tomorrow until 22nd July & they have Pampers Active Fit and Baby Dry Jumbo Packs 2 for £20
• DD1 had Pampers nappies.
Woke up one morning, went into her, and found her sat up in bed eating something. The nappy crystals had all come out of the nappy (she was still wearing the nappy hadn't taken it off or anything, no holes etc) just the nappy had flooded and the crystals were everywhere. Had to take her to hospital cos NHSdirect (obv she was ill after) thought there might be something dodgy in the nappy (the way it was made, not from the wee!!)
She was absolutely fine, but I would now not buy Pampers if you PAID me to.
DD2 has been entirely raised in Huggies or Aldi's :)
The Princess Pullups are her favourite though :D

I often find that when nappies leak its because they simply havn't been fastened properly - when kids wriggle it's hard to get the alignment right and if a nappy is more to one side the chances of leaking are much higher (I've done it myself many times). I find it's easier once the nappy is on to get little one to stand up (or stand them up if they can't) and check the back of the nappy to make sure the pad is central. Never had an accident that way. :)

*albertselephants* what a shock that must have been! Thank goodness your DD was ok :)

• I suppose to be fair, my DD1 used to wee ALOT at night, but she pottytrained overnight really easily, so it was hard to get good nappies for her. Aldi's own brand were definitely the best for her as they hold the most. But I expect when they leak for the bed to get wet, I don't expect the nappy to completely disintegrate!

Not sure about that - Little Angels may 'look' plasticy but there's a reason they keep winning Mum's awards, they're ace to use and brilliantly priced. All the Mums I know use them during the day. Simply Dry do the same job but much more expensive. Baby Dry are the best nappies for nighttimes though I find.

Totally agree about the little angels i Love them!
