Dyeing and fleece top

I bought a fleece jacket on holiday which had been reduced from over £20 to £3 because the sun has turned parts of it a yellow colour. The top is white and the yellowing is mainly on the shoulders and slightly on the arms. It is not that noticeable and I am intending to wear it for dog walking so it's not really a problem.
It is a nice jacket though and I was wondering if it would be possible to dye it.

The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie

Fleece is generally 100% polyester and therefore would be very difficult to dye.
It's not impossible but in order for it to 'take' you would need to use extremely high temperatures and I don't think it's something we can achieve at home.0
