I'm trying to help my best friend... She was in an abusive relationship which she has now managed to get out of but 5 years ago her ex managed to get her to sign loan papers for 34k which she is paying approx £475 per month. She has been paying this for 5 years I called the loan people yesterday for a settlement figure and she still owes 28k and has another 10 years of payments... I'm wondering if there's anything she can do to get out of this...? I'm actually scared that it's going to get all a bit much for her and am scared at what she may do.

Is it a joint or single loan? Secured? Is she renting or a home owner?0

If it's secured on property then it's a gloomy postition indeed."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0
