Can a Claimant (private individual)with a Court Order repossess a rental property and take the rent without putting their names on the title deeds ?I am concerned that I am consenting to being repo'd ,to remove the court order ,yet I am still responsible for the upkeep of the property without receiving the income .Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If the house is repossessed then it isn't your responsibility anymore. All you will be responsible for is the shortfall and fees, unless you are BR.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Hi tigerfeet2006 thanks for your reply ,I find it really strange that the Claimants are taking this stance .They are insisting that if I don't comply with their demands they will enforce the court Order ,which could ultimately result in bankruptcy for me .0

is it the upkeep they are asking for, or the negative equity the property has gathered? So they are claiming their losses?"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." Dalai Lama0

@PippaGirl. The property is not in negative equity and I am unsure of their motives .I am concerned that I am being told to give over the rent but could still be liable for any repairs or insurance .0

Ring someone like National Debtline or CCCS or go and see the CAB and get some proper advice.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

op you need to tell the FULL story, no good only partDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
