When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important! :money:

Morning  wow it was quiet round here yesterday! Lets hope today more of the regulars post! La E sorry to hear that things are financially and workwise stressful for you at the moment. Hoping that it eases up for you very soon lovely x

    - checked cc's - all ok
    - PAD
    - lunch from home

  • Good morning

Thanks to DNMS for starting us off. Bt - do we have the same mum?! She spends per week practically what I spend in a month. Still, my dad eats non-stop (almost literally ) so she has to keep him in food somehow!

Bit miffed today because the letting agents didn't make it to do the check on the house. Apparently they will call today to rearrange so I spent the whole day fretting for nothing.

    Today's mse stuff:

    Charge phone in work

Breakfast, lunch and dinner from stores (don't know what dinner will be yet. Might pop over to the OS board for inspiration!)

Check online banking (paid out £600 for new pc yesterday  but am I still chasing the mystery £100??)

Might work a bit of overtime. Am having trouble easing myself off of it. If I'm not working late I feel guilty about not doing enough

Think that's it. Not doing very much at the mo it seems. Not really sure what to do though?

Have a good day all :)
