the mattress is almost new, hardly used at all, cost me £180!!!!
bed(double frame + mattress) is about 2 years old but in good condition.
washing machine, great condition, 2 years old....

Any advice about where to sell them would be great, thanks!

you could put an advert in your local free paper or put a note in a newsagents window :)

I recently sold my old king size bed so this might help you. I looked on Ebay but hardly anyone are selling second hand beds so decided to sell the pine headboard only as lots of thes were selling. On the add for the headboard I mentioned I was selling the bed too but had not put it on ebay. I did the same on the other items of furniture I was selling at the time. I put down collection only.

The people who bought the headboard also wanted the bed so I sold that without having to pay fees to Ebay. I would give Ebay a go for both items but do mention on each the other item as someone might bid if they happen to need both and are happy to collect.

    Hope this helps.

PS By the way my bed sold for £20 (it was 13 years old) and my 12 year old dining room table sold for £77 so not had really.

A friend of mine has sold beds, matresses etc. on https://www.gumtree.com just a few days ago as she is moving soon. Put it on the site and the same evening people came to collect. She couldn't believe how easy it was!
