2 entries on credit report for the same account

Took out a phone contract with Orange. Due to non-payment the account was passed on to CapQuest. I've settled the debt with them and thought everything was sorted. But checking my credit report tonight I've noticed this account has been reported twice, once by Orange and another entry by CapQuest.
I've emailed Experian querying this but don't expect a reply anytime soon so just wanted to get other peoples advice on whether or not these 2 entries for 1 account is correct.
Thanks

Should be one account. When Capquest registered it (presumably defaulted?) then Orange should have removed theirs.
Complain to capquest in writing if you get no joy from Experian.
How long since the Capqest one was added?:beer:0 -
The account was opened with Orange June 2009. According to Experian it was closed September 2010.
CapQuest however have registered the account as being opened Oct 2008. This is definitely wrong and have confirmed this with Orange so god knows where they've gotten that date from.
The default date (from CapQuest) is April 2010
So do I contact the debt company to have to orange entry removed rather than go to Orange direct?0 -
Capquest own the account so complain to them in writing in the first instance. They should talk to orange. Send signed for.
If no joy then report back on here.
Good luck
