Hi , I have an agreement in principle from ing direct for a 75% mortgage and it is taking quite some time to get the offer. Do ING direct credit check for the agreement in principle or wait until the full application to check ?
Many thanks

They do an initial credit check at Agreement in Principle stage and may have to do another one if things change on the application/ strength of credit score0

thanks for the reply! so if I passed the initial credit check and all other details have stayed the same then I am unlikely to be checked again ? I am only wondering because they seem to be taking their time issuing an offer. However , they did lose my first set of payslips and neglected to request a new set until I called them up to ask what was happening0
