Where do I start and is it possible?

My partner is a disabled war veteran and receives a pension each month as well as a war pension. We have some savings and currently rent. What we wanted to know is are there any lenders out there that would consider helping by providing a mortgage in return for the security of the pension that is for life, if it is combined with a life insurance policy to cover the value of the mortgage and if there is if anybody knows where to start looking for them, please?
The pension is for life and increases byabout the rate of inflation each year and we would be happy to sign it over for the duration of a mortgage which could not be any more secure for them. We will struggle to to get a mortgage on our income, a little bad credit and the fact that we have never been on the electoral role because of the regular moving.
Any advice would be gratefully received, either way....Thanks
