Last week's budget was £20 and I spent £21.69 so I failed but did get four window boxes and a Mother's day card on top of the expected expenditure. The fine weather and gardening has seriously lifted my mood so I'm not going to beat myself up too hard. Next week I will budget £20 again and hopefully resolve to stay within it. The distinct possibility of paying off my first debt (only £272) by end of May, two months earlier than plan should be all the incentive I need :)

Can I join please? This will be my first challenge. I'm going to say £10, ( that doesn't include housekeeping right as I have to buy some food for the kids? and I've budgeted for that!)

Didn't spend any money yesterday, will have to buy my brother a little b'day present for Wednesday, but he knows i'm skint so doesn't expect much.

    So :- 18 - 25th March challenge £0.00 Spent..

  • Hi, i've never tried a DFW challenge before, but i'm keen to take the plunge.
With journeys and gifts home yesterday, i've already spent around ten pounds.

So with that in mind and a £5 budget for the rest of the week. My total Sunday - Friday budget is £15
  • I had a NIGHTMARE week - spent too much, spent loads on stuff for a work event (but have filled in claim forms to get this back) and had a dentist emergency.

I planned to spend £60 and (please don't berate me I know I'm naughty) I spent more like £140 - I stopped counting after £121.75

I have spent some time calculating my weekly budget, and this week I have allocated £20 for petrol, £30 for food shopping and £30 miscellaneous - I have spent £12.00 so far.

Will try and post more regularly this week to keep track of myself.
