Filter for Morphy Richards Europa Kettle

I'm trying to get a replacement filter for a Morphy Richards Europa Kettle - model is either 437 or 487 (can't read middle clear enough). I have rang MR and they say it is discontinued.

They suggested some small electrical place might have one lying around but I've tried locally & emailed some places on the net to no avail. The filter is a small mesh type one that fits in the spout but because it is completely damaged I've taken it out but water boils & spits everywhere without one.

What's the kettle look like? Anything like this

It does look similar and I saw this on Argos. Mine cost about £40 as it is cordless but I think I will go and take a look at this one and check the filter out.
