Help from crafty people?

Hello

I want to make one of these for my OH (We got married in LV a couple of years back and I thought it was cute, although so overpriced!)

Problem is, I can't find a map that's suitable and doesn't cost a fortune. I need one that clearly says 'LAS VEGAS' in a big enough font, but being in the UK I am finding it really difficult to find a local map. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?
Also, any suggestions on where to buy reasonably priced box frames?

you could try doing a web search for images of maps that might work and just print it - if the quality is good enough (may depend on how big you want it to be)? it's a vintage map (or supposedly) in the one on notonthehighstreet.

This isn't as nice, but it's something...though has a watermark so probably no good...but you could have a look. Googling Nevada map or vintage Nevada map images and see what you can find.

Or try ebay, lots of Nevada state maps there...though you'd probably have to ask for a picture of the Vegas portion of it to be sure, and some are likely way too big...but worth a look.


IKEA do cheap box frames.

you can make the map as big or small as you want by zooming in and out

You can then save picture and print it or print screen

Home bargains do box frames as well

No of course not! It is cute isn't it Love Vegas and of course it holds happy memories for us.
