we only got the equita letter re the liability order outstanding last week and it says £460.39 another different amount ?, we got that letter wednesday ( 20th ) letter was dated 15/06/12 ( friday )

did you not receive a letter from your council after the liability order was granted giving you the liability order amount before the letter from Equita

you put that in your e-mail also

ask why a letter from Equita dated 15/06/12 says £460.39 outstanding

the bailiff says (date form 7) £xxx outstanding
local authority confirms by phone on (date) £xxx outstanding

Equita cant charge you for sending this letter so the 3 amounts should be the same the amount of the liability order
I am not an expert I am self taught i have no legal training any information I post is based on my own personal experience and information gained from other web sites

... i have parked it well away from our street out of view, and i am trying to make up a story bout it being sold last week and the buyer has only just collected it, i can sell it to my father in law, of course i can make receipts etc, this is very bad on me lying but i cant have him take my car just to cover his silly fee;s surley ?
Aside from all the obvious reasons not to do this, of course your location, the bailiff and the amount to the penny are all on this site, so it will be dead easy to identify you from information held by the bailiff.

I am sure the more experienced members can guide you more on this but as far as i know and was adviced by legal services, the bailiff cannot put levy just for his own fees. so if the debt has been settled than the bailiff can charge you for the letters but he cannot levy on anything just for his own fees.
If it ever got to the point where i have no money to eat. I would go to the police station and break something to get myself arrested. Atleast i would get a warm cell and food and if everyone who get SANCTIONED by the job center did that than the government would have to change there policy about sanctioning so many people on the work program.
