I bought my mothers day presents weeks ago so no spend there.
I went out and bought a load of sunday papers (£3.75) so cheap say in for me lounging around watching tv and reading papers.
Have a good day x0 -
£3.75! Ouch. I've not bought a daily paper for the whole of the month, and £6.50 a week. It's worth reading bits online, or teletext, listening to Radio, or watching the telly. I know that it's not quite the same, but think of what else you can do with the cash.
I'm determined to not spend anything today. My children have made Mother's Day cards, and My OH has made cards for our Mum's as well, using stuff we've already got, or used from packaging. Best example is the purple colour from Cadbury's Fingers. Looks great when used on cards!0 -
My card is homemade but my friends mum made it
so i cheated. I just gave her the money of what it cost to make.
I have been tempted to go to a card making class but not sure if it is worthwile?
Yes I read papers online too - although i dont bother with that much cos i only used it to look for jobs

So a complete NSD here, plus going to OH moms for lunch which is a bonus!

I bought my mum a nice card and pressie, and got two nice pressies from my adult kids.
Other than that, usual Sunday - cooking the roast.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.

Already sent my mum her card, and have a nice bottle of wine for when i next see her. Have already texted her, and will ring later, but both those are free minutes/texts with my phone package.
As my children and i are staying home (they are being good, especially for mothers day) im cooking a lovely roast dinner, and have been given some lovely chocs, so no need to go out - so today is a NSD!!!!!0 -
my sis and i have gone halves today to take my mum out to lunch had some two for one vouchers !! haha so will end up half the cost and il pay half of that . not bad.
