    Good evening folks:),

    A fantastic day weather wise in NI today:D
    No NSD for me today, as I went to a well known bargain store and also had to get Chorizo for Paella on the way home;)
    Beanie, as somebody once said on the forum, welcome to the home for ther permanently confused:)
    LMH, no need to apologise for confusing me, as it really doesn't take that much these days. Regarding Jenson Button though, he really isn't Reds type:eek:
    I hope everyone else is well and had a good day.
    Marshmallow, welcome to the craziness:T
    If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    Thanks @everyone on this illustrious and justly famous Thread for the wonderful welcome. It is good to be back and aim to get myself into the Good Old MSE Tradition.
    :beer::beer::beer::money::money::money::cool::cool::cool:

    Now to report back: a frugilicious £50 at Mr T's today because I had run out of milk, Candia at Mr T.
    I got a few things as well, the Milk at £1 a litre totalled £14 for 14 bottles.
    Other things I got were 2 x aubergines for a storecupboard (no MSE Virtue here folks I'am afraid) which I can make into a Vegetable Laska, veg stock (Babies heinz vegetable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), coconut milk, plus assorted spices, a reduced diced lamb with a nice bit of fat, a £2 sliced ham on offer, 2x reduced iced coffee-yes I know it's naughty but it's very nice and Payday is Treat day.
    ( I brought an Asthma a Biography book as asthma is so bad I literally fear death and so must see Dr, will do separate Telling MSE thread on here soon). 3kg table salt for beauty and hygiene purposes to stop flies from making themselves too much at home on my rubbish which I am bad at taking. aA £2 Gu desert jelly and sponge with Pimms for the free glass ramekins. Mr T ramekins were a disgusting £1.34 for one!!! plus Coleslaw mix (more sins!) baby spinach (peashoots which I love out of my range) Courgettes which are the great compliment to aubergines to go into Laska.
    I also brought a packet of raspberries to turn into Raspberry and Lime Lollies (to be adapted now I have defrosted the freezer with my wallpaper stripper idea got courtesy of MSE):money::money:

    out.:eek::eek::eek::mad::mad:
    So no way was I NSD'ing but I reason that a good spend makes it possible to learn how to save.

  • Hi everyone,
    Moi has made a big mistake as I cannot squeeze 15 NSD's into 6 unless I have some quantum time travel/moneysaving abilities so I am going to have to limit it to 4-5 at most.
    Mum's pressie to pay for her big 7-0 is imminent.
    Swearword Vodaphone to pay off and request mac no etc and vow NEVER to use them again.
    NO books at Amazon my downfall.
    No more shopping than is needed for life and limb.
    Don't deny treats and nice things punctuate my austerity with luxury but within limits so I don't binge because I have been so good.
    If I am extra good I might try 'em in a row but getting a few under my belt/as many as possible a good idea.
    It is good to be back here.xxxx
