Help please mums/dads/aunties etc of little girls!!
I need help(professional some might say
lol), as a mum of a son and auntie to nephews we have little knowlege of the likes of little girls current trends.
My son has been invited to a little girls party in his nursery class who is going to be 4. I normally get books from bookpeople but cant justify the next day delivery cost which is nearly as much as the book!
Any suggestions would be fantastic, the party is at the weekend. If it is cheap but looks expensive i'd be happy
Thanks for any replies

Hi there! As a mum to a 5 year old girl, I can tell you that Tesco have a great 'girly' range! At 4 - my daughter loved (and still does!) beads for threading. Tesco do a great set - heart shaped - pink - with big beads, string clasps etc for about £3-£4? Also they love things like dressing up shoes, tiaras, colouring books, crayola anything like that. My daughter has also had paint your own piggy banks (about £3 from tesco if i remember correctly) and paint your own plates and cups. Basically anything pink and girly that says 3+ on the label and you cant go far wrong! Hope this helps!

I'll pop into tesco tomorrow. Amazing how different boys and girls are! 0 -
Hi, my dd is 4 and is going to a friends 4th birthday party next week.
I have just this morning brought a pink t-shirt from NEXT as a present.
Little girls tend to love their clothes especially if pink and girly and I know the mums appreciate it cos they get something actually useful rather than more toys.0 -
My little girl is 3 1/2 yrs old and the best toys I got her where both from Tesco. First was a till I think it's £4.95 and a princess teaset I think it was about the same price

How about a big chocolate Easter egg. The ones that are BOGOF then you can eat the free one when your son is at the birthday party.:rotfl:0
