Cant speak for rbs but the ppi claim i recently made was paid plus interest and came as 1 cheque so i would have thought rbs would do the same.

You accepted their offer - why would they add more now? You should have asked for the interest to be repaid too, rather than accepting the offer.

You can ask for more, but there is a strong possibility that they will consider your claims closed because you accepted the settlement payment. Worth the cost of a letter, possibly, but not much more.

    Good luck

So to get the interest paid you need to ask for it, did not know that.

    Thanks
  • when they sent you the offer did it give a breakdown of the payment ie did it show interest at 8% or whatever.... or was it just a figure that u accepted without any full breakdown, so they offered u the 5K and u accepted but assumed there would be interest to come on top of that?

With mine when I received the offer it gave a breakdown including interest which when accepted the full amount accepted was paid into bank, can only assume they made an offer to you which u accepted without any breakdown of what was included ... is that correct?
