Morning All :j Lovely and sunny here today so I'm hoping to be nice and positive about things. Hope those that aren't well are feeling on the mend. My list for today:

Working from home again, so hopefully can be super quick as as no travel, have a bit of time for some 'me' things in there ;)
Popped to Mr T early armed with list, which I was good at sticking too. Use a price promise voucher they gave me before when they only had 1 of something that was 2 for £20 - so got 12 pack of baby wipes today for 2p :D
Used my own bags for green points and an bonus clubcard voucher
    Lunch from stores
    Tea from planner
    Washing on, dry outside
Check banking - update spreadsheet - one of my favourite jobs- wish I had become an excel geek years ago, would have made my debt busting start sooner I reckon :p
Finish work expenses and submit them
List some more on fleabay - I managed one thing the other night :o I guess it's better than none :rotfl:hardly going to make me rich though!
Went to pay off gas/elec bill and they ahd credited my account with £100 that was half of my sign up deal - so I am now £9 in credit ;-)

    Think that's about all

Have a great day everyone :)

    Hello!
    I hope you don't mind if I join...today, I:

    - made soup with bendy carrots: 4 portions!
    - will catch the bus instead of the tube
    - checked banking on-line
    - drew a budget based on my new income: I got a job!!
    - opened e-Saver issue 5 with Santander: will be putting dispossible income there as soon as I start my new job. And probably my OH's too, as otherwise it vanishes into the ether
    - planned meal to use vegetables in the fridge before they go off.
    - will talk to husband about putting his left over money together in savings account so that it doesn't go away too soon
  • Today I will:
    • Find some new cheaper car insurance, I will go through cashback sites for my comparisons and then buy through a cashback site if it's the cheapest option.
    • Update my little black book (which is actually pink) with balances.
    • Transfer some money that I owe to my horrible ex-boyfriend.
    • Set up a SO for payday to pay back my parents for some money they lent me.
    • Post a letter of complaint to Santander, who have charged me £1000 in charges over the past year, and had the cheek to send me a letter saying that! Probably won't do anything about it, but will try my best.
    • Post a letter to HSBC [STRIKE]begging[/STRIKE] asking nicely for them to stop interest on my o/d which is being paid by a DMP. Barstewards.
    Have a good Tuesday everyone.

    Afternoon!

    Well done carrie! :)

    Today I have:
-checked bank, transferred the remaining £4 (!!!) into my savings to pay of big cc- now I'm all ready for payday on Thursday! (2 sleeps!!) lol
    - checked cc's- all ok, going to start leaving them at home tho as I get tempted to spend! ( like today, went into a clothes shop, took two tops to the till and then came to my senses and turned around!)
    - lunch from home
    - NSD so far! :)

    To do:
    - call vanquis as soon as I get home to ask why they haven't closed my acc and sent me my credit!
    - make lunch for tomorrow
    - start by budget on my phone app! I've worked out I should have around £70 left over for general spends, doable.. But going to be VERY tight!
    - go to Asda and buy the cheapest birthday cards I can find! Haha! Lots of bays in July! :(
    - also need to think of ideas for my dads bay present.. He's so difficult to by presents for!

    Hi everybody!

Pay day for me today so:

    - Reduced my overdraft by £100 as part of the 1 debt vs 100 days challenge
    - £42.40 paid off my credit card (balance now under £900)
    - Did my weekly supermarket shop and narrowly avoided being drawn in by a Buy 2 for X when I am only trialling one because Tesco no longer seem to sell my conditioner, and this new stuff is expensive! I almost bought the shampoo, but I buy a £20 bottle of shampoo that I buy elsewhere which is infinitely better value - lasts me a year!
    - Transferred some money into another account for a rent payment.

I still need to dig out my MOT and insurance docs so that I can get my car tax this week, and I also need to find my Duke of Edinburgh paperwork because I go on my residential for that on Saturday!

Bt1, for difficult people in the past I have bought them a calendar from getting personal.co.uk
Think they are £14, you get loads and loads of different ones and can start them from any month. And you personalise it with their name, I got my fil a fishing one for his bday, he loved it!
Can't think of anything smart to put here...
