I didn't notice if you replied regarding the oil I use for cooking last night. Is it any good? I'm confused with good oils, bad oils, saturates...unsaturates, triglcerides etc etc. All I really know is fish oils equals good oils.

    Saturated fats = bad
    Unsaturated fats = good

You can sub-divide unsaturated fats into mono-unsaturated and poly-unsaturated. Poly- is healthier than mono-unsaturated.

If you want a bit of science:

Fats contain carbon and hydrogen atoms which are bonded together. In a saturated fat, the maximum number of bonds between carbon atoms and hydrogen atoms have been formed; thus making the fat 'saturated'. In an unsaturated fat, there are less carbon and hydrogen bonds and thus less hydrogen atoms. But you do have more carbon-carbon double bonds. This makes a poly unsaturated fat healthier.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Morning all

Hope the wedding plans are coming along nicely :rotfl:

Wish this bloody weather would make its mind up. Its the end of June and its like blimmin' October out there. And my tan is fading rapidly :(
Tan?? I'm still waiting for mine to arrive!!!

Rang the docs again for more advice about DS so waiting on a phone call to say whether to take him back in. His left eye is closed and he is so lethargic that i was wondering if he was losing consciousness as opposed to falling asleep. He's conked out on the floor on a few cushions and snoring. He only ate half a piece of toast and a yogurt yesterday and refuses anything i offer him (even ice cream got the "no" last night!). So I've got jeremy kyle on and catching up over my cuppa.. I've not watched Jezza for years, very funny (but sad re: the stories)
    Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find
