My computers are driving me nuts! I was having problems with my main computer and the easiest way to sort it all out (and get rid of all the trash thats built up over the last year or so) was to get it all cleaned out and to reload Vista. (local 'expert' did that for me).

The computer came back, I set it up and all was great for a few hours except I no longer had any AOL software installed. So, I put in the AOL software disc which I got when I joined up - it was an old version so the newest version downloaded. And it seems that the downloaded software is corrupted. The Indian call centre has been their usual less than helpful selves and I have to wait for them to send me a new disc which they say will sort the problem out. I've tried downloading the softare again but that dosen't work. Somewhere along the line they have also managed to de-activate all but my master email address.

To add insult to injury, I've checked my connection speed and its UNDER 1 meg when they are supposed to give me around 24 meg. And now my backup computer has died on me! Last time AOL messed my account/connection u it took them 3 weeks to sort it so I'm not a happy bunny!

Thank you for your kind words earlier Fudge Cake.

Yesterday I had to go to my DD school for a musical arts evening and she sang in front of everyone. She has a lovely voice, so much that people always commented and so she started to go to singing lessons every week about 3 years ago now. I almost cried, as she sang You Raise Me Up. The song always catches me out, as it was played at my Grandfathers funeral, which was about 6 years ago, lung cancer claiming the best man I ever knew. (don't tell the OH) She is also singing it at her teachers wedding. Lets hope I don't turn into a blubbering wreck.

I missed the 8pm toast to lost loved ones, so I shall raise a glass of the finest glitched wine I have.
